Worked when I first used it. I bought this to build my new computer as I didn't decide to include an internal CD drive. I found that I can use this if I want to use an old CD or install Windows from a CD. It worked when I first opened it and put the CD in. Then after about 5 minutes I changed the CD - and since then no matter what CD I put in - it just makes a few clicks and doesn't really do anything. It doesn't work with CDs. Just sit and click loudly.
