I liked this Makita charger more than the Makita Rapid Optimum Battery Charger they sell here at Revain. Let me break it down for you. The Makita Rapid Optimum battery charger had a clear cap and this Makita charger has a blue cap and it ignited instantly and charged my Makita 18V 6.0Ah Li-Ion battery. I can see this product lasting longer than the clear Makita charger I had. Buy this item, you won't regret it! Just don't buy Makita's transparent charger! It won't last long and die on you like it did on me a few days ago. I had an old transparent charger for several years until it broke a few days ago.
