Has the exact hole pattern of the replaced unit. For the less experienced installer with a soft hand, I would suggest adding variable size pipe wrenches to the internal mechanism. I have pliers so I only needed one plier to snap the correct tabs to the correct length, but I could see how difficult it was for others even if they had two pliers as the instructions dictate.
