Working from home 8 hours a day, I found my work space to be very dark. I didn't have a natural light source or space for a floor lamp, so I knew I needed something that could be mounted to the side of my desk and leaned over my workbench. I have very specific requirements for the size and brightness I need and this seems to fit the criteria. I used to use portable lights and didn't really hope they would be more than useful. Boy am I comfortably oversized! She has a nice, long neck, which is still very stable and stiff. It stays in place perfectly. There are three different light colors, "blue white" is my favorite, it really shines exactly where I need light. What's really nice is that it has a USB port for power so I don't have to plug it into my desk with an extension cord. I also like the on/off control panel that can adjust colors and 5 levels of brightness and it turns the lights on and off with a dimming function which is very nice. daily bans. :) I left the light on for 12 hours and it never got hot. Finally, the clip is very secure and strong, but soft so it doesn't dig into the edge of my desk. I've had it for about 3 weeks and haven't had any problems with it at all. I hope it lasts because I really love it! Worth the price. Very happy with this light clip.
