For my RAM 1500 with a 76" truck bed, the bed extender makes it very easy to use 4x8 sheets of plywood and 8 foot planks load. I just had to be careful to place the 1x2s at an angle so they wouldn't come out between the bars. When I'm not carrying long stuff the AMP just stays upside down and it makes it easy to just toss things in the back of the truck. Today I put a new rim grill in and it fit like it couldn't be better.. 2 shock cords and all I had to do was drive across the country without rolling. What would I do differently if I was an AMP? I would Install bars closer to reduce risk of slipping off 2x4 or fence posts.
