I replaced the factory shocks on my 2001 Chevy Blazer with a Gabriel shock kit. The Gabriel shocks were adequate but didn't offer the comfort I was expecting from a premium shock as advertised. Within 2 years (under normal highway driving conditions - 15,000 miles) the Gabriel shock absorbers wore out and broke. As a result, I bought a Bilstein shock absorber kit (24-014120) through Revain as a replacement. After installing these shocks, I immediately noticed a difference in the comfort and handling of my Blazer. In fact, the difference in handling, comfort and ride that Bilstein shocks offered was night and day. The Bilstein shocks were much better in every way and I'm very happy with these shocks. For the price I can highly recommend them. I couldn't be happier.
