So close to perfection.

After trying out a level 1 puzzle, I was curious as to how well my dog will perform with a level 2 puzzle. It definitely took more time for my dog to be comfortable with this level 2 puzzle than the previous one. After two or three times using this puzzle, he figured out how to get to the food that is hidden under the covers around the perimeter of the toy puzzle. The slid covers are also no match for him. He is still having some difficulty with the level 2 portion of this puzzle, the gigantic push button in the middle of the toy. It does seem like he is slowly understanding how the entire puzzle works. The puzzle itself is well built and looks to be fairly durable as long as you don’t abuse it. The only issue I have with the puzzle is with the openings from the center compartment to the perimeter pockets. These holes are a bit small to effectively fit most kibbles or treats through. I found that the food gets stuck in the openings quite frequently. This further confuses my dog because he doesn’t understand why the food is not coming out after he did everything he is suppose to. I’ve had to give him a hand on a few occasions.
