I love how cute this treetop is. 3 stars for originality and attractiveness, that's where the stars stop. It goes perfectly with my mid-century modern flared wood. However, when I got it, it was a mess with a hot glue gun that made the infamous Sunday morning walk. Not only did the glue come off all over the place even though the threads were still attached, 1 candy wasn't on the topper at all and 3-4 more fell off the ends. It took me about 10 minutes to remove the dried hot glue from it and clean the pieces and then glue them back on to tear them apart. The inner red plastic ball was scratched, but I just put it against the wall, this side up. If it didn't go so well with my tree and Christmas in 2 weeks I would send it back. I would have expected this quality in a dollar store - maybe not even there. Buyers be careful, you may need to make some corrections if you want to use this item and don't want to lose any parts.
