They have virtually no grip, the bottom isn't rubber it's like foam and I suspect it'll wear out pretty quickly. I wouldn't recommend them for running although they are very light. They are not a size 8.5 or 9 so I had to buy an 8 but they are still longer than other shoes I have bought in a size 8.5. The insoles are already falling out and have a hump on the inside of the foot, which is uncomfortable for me. . I like the feel of the material on the top. You can't just put them on, the cords attached to the laces are not elastic or stretchable. I will probably return them.
