The message '4x4 Service' keeps popping up on my About screen. I noticed that the light on my switch has gone out. I did some research and found the switch to be a common mistake. I ordered this new rear derailleur from Revain and it was a simple OEM replacement. The day after I received it, my old one was really bad. I started my truck and all the lights flashed for about 5 seconds and then showed 4Lo for no apparent reason. I drove and could tell it wasn't blocked but the computer thought so and shifted very quickly, no one knows where. I stopped and repeated. This time in 4 Lo! I pressed the 2HI button but nothing changed. I was there. Luckily I had this new switch in the truck, along with a few tools. I was able to pull out the dashboard, remove the old one and replace it with this one in 20 minutes. Buying this switch from Revain and having it with me saved me a ton and a ton of money. Has been working flawlessly for 3 months!
