When our RV is on a hill, sometimes the door and steps are much higher than we would like. It's either a level camper or steps close enough to the ground for easy entry. This RV step makes it easier to enter the RV when the steps are higher than we would like. It folds up, is light enough to be easily stowed away, but strong enough to feel secure when stepping on it. I would give it 5 stars apart from the concern that the step will roll away from the camper if used on a hill. Folding legs are only slightly wider than the platform. In some situations it may tip over when placed on a slope. I plan on adding a piece of steel rod to the bottom of the folding legs to prevent this, but if Camco made them a little wider it would be fine.
