OK feeding toy; hard to fill

My rats eat this toy so the product really works. It's pretty cute too and I love the little flower on the front. The middle screw comes out easily, so you need to make sure it's screwed in far enough to hold the lid, but not too tight or it will prevent rotation. BUT, I haven't found an easy way to fill this toy. with food. You either have to completely detach it from my rat cage (which is actually pretty tricky) to fill it completely, or you can partially fill it by leaving it in the cage and twisting the lid to put the food inside. / treated. None of these techniques are good or easy. If I want to fill it with different treats as shown in the picture, I absolutely must unscrew it from the cage and remove the clear lid/top to fill each section. This is a BIG PROBLEM as the screws turn when you try to unscrew the wing nut. So you have to hold the head of the screw with one hand inside the cage and loosen the wing nut with the other hand outside the cage. This really limits my options as to where I can place it in the cage. So I leave it empty in her cage most of the time because it's too difficult to use. I wouldn't buy this again. Either I'm just lazy or this product is poorly designed. All in all I am disappointed with this design.
