This is the perfect choice when you need a small, unobtrusive bumper. It's actually a gorgeous little stop with a brilliantly polished chrome finish. It has a solid brass mounting plate that attaches to the wall with a small screw, and then the "body" of the bumper is attached to the base. It's a simple, functional, and well-executed design. It's small so may not be suitable for high traffic areas or "aggressively" open doors. It could be punched/thrust through the wall with a powerful shot. I used it on a sheathing wall (ie bolted to wood paneling) in a small sundeck as a door bumper/stopper to prevent damage to the wall. I placed it at hand height and it's perfect. It is very high quality and very small (about a quarter in diameter).
