My effectiveness as an athlete is directly correlated to the quality of the gear that I use, so naturally, I had high expectations for the online store that SHIDU operates. Unfortunately, my time spent working with this business has been marked by nothing but frustration and dissatisfaction. To begin, the website has a terrible layout and is extremely difficult to traverse. There is insufficient detail provided in the product descriptions, and the pictures that are provided are frequently blurry and of poor quality. Because of this, it was difficult for me to make well-informed judgments about the kinds of tools and supplies I required. The second major issue is the terrible quality of the customer support. I made several attempts to get in touch with the business in order to ask some questions about a product that piqued my interest; however, I was never given a response. When I attempted to follow up, I was greeted with responses from customer service representatives that were impolite and not very helpful. Last but not least, the quality of the actual merchandise is lacking. The microphones I purchased had a poor build quality, and when they were used, they generated static and interference. In addition, the accessories that I bought turned out to be of low quality and did not function as I had anticipated they would. In general, I am unable to endorse SHIDU as a trustworthy source for purchasing musical instruments, microphones, and accoutrements. This business is a source of frustration and disappointment due to the subpar products and the poorly designed website. There is also a distinct lack of customer service.
