I am positively impressed with this great value J1772 EV holster and cord hanger. It consists of 2 parts with 7 Phillips screws for wall mounting. The holster (socket) for the J1772 connector is made of plastic, the bracket and suspension are made of heavy aluminum. Typically 6 out of 7 wall mounting screws are required for assembly. I think it's pretty easy and intuitive for wall mounting. I went the other way... I wanted to install it on a light pole in the yard that also provided an outlet next to the parking lot. In my situation I used two 3" hose clamps as fasteners. I drilled a hole in each and used the included nuts and bolts to attach the plastic holster to the aluminum bracket, then the bracket to the clamps, and finally the clamps to the assembly to attach to the light post. It worked great and created a secure mount. The holster overhanging the aluminum holster makes it well suited for outdoor use. Obviously important in my application. Of course I am very happy with this holster. It was the lowest Price I could find for a similar holster/hanger and it was close to perfect.I give this value about a well configured item that can easily be adjusted to my purposes.No wonder I chose this Max Green Hanger/Holster 5 stars It was just what I needed.
