I've used 1/4" and 3/8" ratchet on a few small garage projects and so far so good. Haven't used it for anything really high torque yet so can't comment on the ratchet's strength/durability yet. They turn the ratchet very easily so my "I'm not an engineer but I play one of these on TV" is wondering how durable they will be with higher/heavier use. I'm used to a heavier/harder ratchet, as are my other wrenches (Cobalt wrenches with large teeth and Armstrong with fine teeth). However, this is quite picky. My only real complaint is minor - I wish the 3/8 ratchet handle was 1 or 2 inches longer to give me a little more leverage.
