Review on 🚴 NiteRider Solas 100 Lumens USB Rechargeable Bike Tail Light: Ultimate Daylight Visibility for Cycling Safety by George Sullivan

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Light, durable, reliable lock.

This is my second. The first fell off my bike on a rough road - due to "user error". Basically there is a lightweight clip that attaches to the seatpost and has a snap/lock mechanism. But you have to make sure that it really fits. Once that happens, it's reliable and hassle-free. It's bright (1/2 mile or more during the day) and I mostly use the blink mode on day trips. I've done a couple of 2-3 hour rides (5 hours total) without charging (via USB), and I'm considering another longer ride (6+ hours) as well. Highly recommended for 1) brightness 2) locking mechanism 3) price and 4) design. For security reasons, everyone should have one. You will be "very" visible on the street!

Pros
  • BATTERY INDICATOR When the device is off, the indicator flashes blue to indicate that the battery level is over 20%. And turns red when below about 20% left.
Cons
  • Brief instructions
