Product defective and very poor customer service

When the product arrived it was very loose at the base and unusable. I had to buy a brand new box and then repackage the defective unsaleable (to me or anyone and useless) vase and send it back to the seller. Obviously the 50% restocking fee leaves a good profit margin even on a defective item. He claims it was broken when he received it, guess it was defective (so broken) when he received it from my end so it was returned. It looks good and I would have liked a replacement but I was afraid it would also have the same defect. His or her "paradise" tone in the email to me was quite rude, angry, unprofessional and accusatory, like I'd smashed him to the ground. packed and shipped. In contrast, I think he took it well and has a few broken ones on hand in case Amazon or I need photos. He screwed up what could have been so much better. At $38, it's very small and doesn't sit flat and tight on the surface. Add water and flowers, and if the wind blows, it will most likely fall and break everywhere. Be warned it's not worth the price. The return policy makes it viable even if you run out of product, and worst of all, even Amazon can check 15 years of history if there's anything I'm not a serial finder. The item was defective and I have just sent it back. Not a good experience. Luckily, Amazon stepped in and gave me back the other $19 they were unethically trying to get with no reason or rights. stay away from me Too bad for him because this kind of unprofessionalism costs the seller a lot more than $19 when others see how bad they are at customer service. And while I might become a regular customer, I would most likely avoid it at all costs.
