These glides are well made. I screwed mine to the bottom of the chairs to insure they won't come off. I also didn't use the screws that came with the glides because others have said they had problems with screws breaking while installing. Figured it was much easier to spend very little on a few screws I can trust than trying to remove a broken screw. I like the way these glides are made. They look like they will last for some time. I was a little disappointed that they don't slide easier.I think the reason is they are so small to fit the bottom of the chair leg. When seated on the chair, the leg sinks into the rug reducing the ability to slide easily. Better than no glide at all, but not as good as I had hoped.
