I have gigabit internet and bought this product to get rid of the WiFi repeater I currently use. When I tried to use this device in a different room in the house I want to use it in, I got less than 10Mbps. So I moved the adapter to the same room as the router to cover it up at best testing. Using two outlets in the same room less than 6 feet apart. In this best case, I achieved speeds of under 100 Mbit/s, which the screenshot with the speed test switched on confirms. I'm barely getting 15% of the advertised 600Mbps speed this product is supposed to deliver. The wiring in my house is excellent and at best I checked that the two adapters are plugged into the same switch while in the same room. , and this room is less than 10 feet from the breakbox. As I type this I am trying to print a returns label so I can return this item for a refund. It turns out that this adapter does not allow my computer to find a network printer to print this label.
