crap, don't buy it.

I have gigabit internet and bought this product to get rid of the WiFi repeater I currently use. When I tried to use this device in a different room in the house I want to use it in, I got less than 10Mbps. So I moved the adapter to the same room as the router to cover it up at best testing. Using two outlets in the same room less than 6 feet apart. In this best case, I achieved speeds of under 100 Mbit/s, which the screenshot with the speed test switched on confirms. I'm barely getting 15% ofโ€ฆ

It worked really and well

Remember when you bought this reassuring solution online and it. it does not work? Well I was expecting the same result after a Wi-Fi issue that required a wired connection and it more than delivered. Detailed background and verification: - Upgraded internet from 50Mbps to 300Mbps to see that my wired computers, wifi devices and phones ALL worked. according to the specified tariff of the provider. BUT my PS4 and my Samsung Q7 Smart TV. The PS4 without WiFi ran at sub-1Mbps download speeds andโ€ฆ

Didn't work for me: Network adapter

For Ethernet over Power Line to work (at least in theory) with this device, both devices must be on the same circuit. It is mentioned in the product description but I didn't understand what that means because I thought everything will be fine as long as they are in the same house. I think it should be made more prominent because there is a picture of this device being used in a two story house that I wanted to use so I bought it. My router is definitely not on the same circuit (is notโ€ฆ

miracle device. I can't believe how well this worked!

Can't believe it works so well. My computer is upstairs in the attic, on the opposite side of the house. I used to use wifi and an extension cord. I had 7-12 Mbps at best and the connection was extremely unstable. These bad guys hooked up, and wow, it's like night and day. I get 17Mbps (our maximum DSL speed I know) and a 100% stable connection. It really looks like my computer is right next to the modem. A few tips: Avoid as many surge protectors, outlet extenders, etc. as possible, as theyโ€ฆ

So far so good for my PS4

Works well. I have a PS4 Pro and the Wi-Fi connection is terrible. It's sad that Sony is actually aware of this and their only advice is don't give up. My router is in another room and cannot be moved. It wasn't that far. My Apple TV and phone had no trouble connecting to it in the living room. Anyway, I got this because I use Playstation Vue for TV as well as regular streaming services like Netflix and gaming. I was constantly kicked out of the network and it became unbearable, literally every

  • There are other interesting options.

I used to use TP-Link network adapters because that's the only way I can get a reliable network connection in my apartment. I recently upgraded my internet speed (from 100Mbps to 200Mbps) so I needed a faster adapter (my old adapters were rated for 100Mbps) and chose TP-Link to allow the new devices work well with my old ones. They are advertised with a data transfer rate of 500 Mbit/s, and the adapter itself says "500 Mbit/s" directly. I thought this would help. But now that I've gotten themโ€ฆ
