Review on Coavas Frosted Glass Window Film - 118 X 35.6 Inches - Non-Adhesive Static Cling Window Privacy Film For Home, Office & Shower - Anti-UV & Privacy Clings For Better Light Control by Adam Grady

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Read directions; there IS A BACKING that you must peel off first!

I could not get backing off. I was so frustrated and had the wife try as well. We both determined there was no backing. Then I thought of how you can make a ribbon curly (I know sounds crazy, just hear me out) by using edge of scissors and bending it over the sharp edge and pulling it over the edge. I did this same thing on the corner of the film and then the backing separated a little but enough to grip and pull it off.I suggest cut the film larger, get backing off as described above, get window wet with water, put on window and slide into position. Then get air bubbles out with a plastic scraper pushing into corners, then using a sharp knife cut to size. I used to cover garage windows so no one can look in. Looks great.

Pros
  • In addition to providing privacy, the film also helps to control the amount of light that enters a room. This can be especially useful in areas that receive a lot of sunlight, as it can help to reduce the amount of heat that enters a room, thereby lowering energy costs. Additionally, the film is anti-UV, which helps to protect furniture and other sensitive items from sun damage
Cons
  • May not be a cost-effective alternative to traditional window treatments
