This is the liter container we use to store homemade ice cream in the freezer. The container is strong, with thick walls and a very flexible lid that makes it easy to remove. The lid reminds me of the material used to make mats and small cake tins. I love it and it protects ice cream well. Of course, I put wax paper or plastic wrap on top of the ice to prevent crystals from forming on the surface, but this can be done with any container.
