Review on 🔍 Breeding Box for Vision Enhancement by Amy Smith

I really wanted to love this grow box. I kinda like him. I bought it thinking it would work well with any Vision cage. I had the largest of the Vision cages that was not double (only had one set of doors). You cannot connect a viewing window to doors, but you can still access the doors to get inside the cage. It's very big. It says he can enter the cage. but it sure takes up a lot of space. Also, as other commenters have said, it can be very difficult to connect to the cage wires, but with a lot of "careful" pressure and maneuvering I was able to get it to fit snugly. I decided that a single tier view cage wouldn't work for this so I bought a medium sized double cage so I could connect the nest box to the top level of the opening and still have access to the lower doors. I got a bit frustrated when I had to open the door inwards because when you try to put the cage door on the nest it doesn't fit snugly. My birds don't mind, they like the extra landing space. I put some pine shavings in the box because other people said the plastic lining could cause a splayed leg. For a company trying to do what's best for the birds. You would think they thought of that part. My last complaint is that the opening is small. I have burqa parrots and my female is having a hard time getting out of her hole. I really wish they had an extra fitting that could be unscrewed to enlarge the hole. I'm worried that I might have to make my own adjustments with the Dremmel :( Love the idea and concept of being able to see inside the cage easily and easy to clean. Hopefully eggs soon <3 !
