Great product - just what I needed!

For several years I wanted to put spider lampshades on two small (and cheap) lamps, but taking the lamps to a repair shop to add a harp seemed like too big an investment in these cheap lamps. I was glad I found this adapter and more importantly it works so well. The extra coating on the wires keeps the adapter perfectly in place - no slipping - and since you can place it exactly where you want it, you can adjust any tilt or tilt on the lamp's base and maintain the dimming level. The wires are firmly attached to the bulb, so be patient and make sure to use enough force to attach them.
