Insufficient ankle protection
I've used them with a bike and while they offer decent wrist protection they don't protect the ankle. The upper part of the gloves is made of sheer fabric that does not protect your skin. I don't expect them to work miracles, but a fall caused significant damage to my left forearm. I suggest looking for a wrist guard that offers better upper arm protection.
