Review on Review of the Razor A6 Scooter: Unleashing the Ultimate Riding Experience! by Aneta Szmit ᠌

Average purchase, there is something to complain about.

This is a good city scooter with a lot of flaws. I drove about 700 km on it, the ride is a pleasure, coupled with an excellent coast, but the main thing is not to get off it and not to carry it nearby. For example, large wheels do not offer any advantage with this frame geometry, since 54mm is not a strong advantage over other scooters, except perhaps visually. Roll forward is good due to good bearings and a rigid frame with a low center of gravity. Driving on a primer is impossible due to the lack of depreciation and low ground clearance. My weight is 91 kg and I have a feeling that I can break the handlebars while descending from a 1cm curb. The steering is very flimsy and wobbles. It rattles if you carry it around. On every bump, it produces a sound that is similar to a children's car with plastic wheels and gravel inside. The same sound when driving on paving stones or tiles, plus on tiles there will be a fairly noticeable blow to the steering wheel. Finding replacement 254mm wheels is unrealistic, razor doesn't supply them separately. Of course, the scooter is an excellent urban means of transportation, but some of the shortcomings are very frustrating.

Pros
  • Big wheels; Wide handlebar; There are liners in the handle to reduce chatter; Excellent rolling; Structural strength due to its rigidity; Good skin on the deck; You can drive 10-14 km and not get very tired. Light weight.
Cons
  • The folding mechanism rattles when driving on paving stones and tiles with the bolt tightened to the maximum; The wing-brake is too short, as a result, even the back is wet in the rain, refinement is needed; The wing-brake vilely fastens and rattles on bumps. Apparently, the pin or spring is not able to firmly fix the wing in one position; The brake is very sluggish, especially on wet surfaces. At the same time, during prolonged braking, the wing can heat up so much that the sole will melt (photo below); No reflectors, reflectors, although a third-party French company has no problems with this; Only transfer is possible, rolling is inconvenient due to the lack of a steering column lock; The handles can be removed, but there is no mount on the steering column to fix them. As a result, the wheel is rotated 90° and constantly hits someone when carrying. The option with a cover is completely inconvenient. Low ground clearance of 4.5 cm, which in turn removes the advantages of large wheels; The inside of the deck is closed with a loose plug, so all the dirt flies into the deck. Especially after a week of active skiing, sand, dirt and dust will always be there; The quality of metalworking is simply disgusting (curved anther washers, crooked seams, traces of very rough milling everywhere); The steering column turns with a crunch a week after purchase. At that time, in the service store on Paveletskaya Street, the “servicemen” were twice unable to do anything. At the same time, unscrewing the chrome nuts was using a gas wrench; Bearings began to "rustle" after a year, you need to wash and apply grease. Also, it is better to swap the inner and outer bearings. The advertisement says that 4 bearings per axle is cool, in fact the outer bearings are not covered by anything and do not participate in torsion (checked after disassembly and lubrication).

Height 175, but I think it will suit those who are under 2 meters and above
