UPDATE: The vendor has confirmed that the new version of the display should now display the correct 16:10 resolution on a Mac. I have updated the rating to 4 stars as the monitor is good except for the unit I received. Anyone having problems with resolution scaling in macOS should contact the seller to exchange a new block. Your support team was accommodating in dealing with my defective product. Because this product has reviews from older SKUs, this review applies only to ASIN: B0B1TPLY9S (2K 16-inch Portable Monitor, 2560 x 1600) TLDR: The display is not reflecting the correct resolution for macOS, resulting in images being corrupted due to an incompatible Aspect ratio to be stretched. and the only correct resolution is unreadable. Windows scaling works fine. This monitor defaults to 1920 x 1080 (16:9) which is an incorrect aspect ratio as the display has a 16:10 aspect ratio. The ONLY 16:10 scaling resolution 2560 x 1600 is available in the system settings, making text unusably small. There's also no option to use letterbox to display a 16:9 resolution without stretching. I haven't found a workaround for this issue that doesn't disable SPI to manually modify system files to inject the resolution scale. The computer connects to the monitor using the included USB-CC cable, which is connected to a 2021 16-inch MacBook Pro with Monterey 12.4.
