When replacing the cylinder head gasket, the water pump gasket must also be replaced. We knew it but wanted to be cheap, but after cleaning and sealing the head gasket, there was a water hammer seal leak that wasn't there before. It was a weekend project where we take a day to clean everything, a day to super clean everything, and a day to put everything back together. What bothered me the most was the exhaust manifold. Six months have passed and everything is going great.
