Review on Pressman 2104 04 DVD Board Game by Andrew Schobinger

The interface won, not the game.

I got this game from my wife for Christmas and we were all excited to sit down and try it today. Game experience was disappointing. Unfortunately, the game is a frustrating interface game rather than a difficult puzzle to solve. We started from day one and found out what others have commented. Response times are often slow, and you're looking for a "golden point" to click the remote, taking latency into account. What really killed us was that after about 3 or 4 locations we had to go back to CTU to decode. a USB drive that we found. We think we figured out the code right away, but all our lives we couldn't figure out how to enter the code we wanted. It was an absolute disappointment. As user Joe, I have to say that this is one of the worst designed, documented, or explained interfaces I've seen. As someone who has been testing and designing interfaces for the software industry for several years, I have to say that this is by far the most poorly designed, documented, or explained interface I have seen. There really is no excuse for that. Any test of this game should have brought these egregious problems to light. Save yourself the hassle and do something else. Not only is this game not worth it, but the passion for 24 doesn't make this thing worth it.
