Review on Chrome Pulltap's Classic Corkscrew by Lokesh Das

My new favorite corkscrew

Non-stick coating on the corkscrew, what an idea! It has never been so easy to screw a screw in or out of a cork and I can't believe I've never had a cork like this before. I've used waiter's corkscrews in the past and never got tired of them. They didn't unplug all the way, or they were awkward to screw in before unplugging. Worse, I often struggled to get the cork out once I managed to pry the cork out of the bottle, using more brute force than leverage. This one doesn't have such problems. It spins like the wind, and then the cork is removed in two very quick movements. This corkscrew can be a little pricey, but it's worth it. I think this would make a great gift for the wine lover in your life, or buy one for yourself if you open more than a few bottles a year. It looks beautiful and works great, a combination that can't be beat.
