The yellow tint on this gasket makes it look a lot like copper alloy, doesn't it? However, when I examined my newly received oil plug, I saw that the washer was white plastic. That alone could have earned this rating the maximum 3 stars, but then I turned the box over and read the instructions. ALWAYS CHANGE THE DRAIN PLUG GASKET EVERY OIL CHANGE. I think the lawyers wrote it on the package. When the flimsy plastic disk fails, the sons of single mothers can point it out and claim the consumer has been warned - according to them it was sold as a disposable/disposable oil plug. At least legally.
