There is a lot of debate about these interests here.

There is a lot of controversy here about the throttle body but I believe. It's something you must have when making other mods, but on its own it's a keeper. As far as fuel consumption goes, I haven't noticed a big difference yet. In terms of horsepower, I can't say it adds more, but it does seem to lift the power bar a bit. It's definitely faster on the throttle from 1-4k rpm.
