I like the smaller and lighter size of the launcher and the ability to slightly accelerate the launcher. I had a Ford style solenoid fitted before my old starter to help with heat absorption so on this starter I used a 10 gauge jumper wire from the large brace to the solenoid terminal with a 1/4 inch blade. I passed the 10 mile test. engine, and it revved just as fast hot or cold. The only downside wasn't the fault of the starters, but it took me the courage to cut a corner of the mounting block to clear my headers and it. One of the pictures shows my heat shield, motor and flywheel before the starter was attached and the other shows the corner I cut off the mounting base.
