The first impression was that it was a solid piece of hard rubber. Flexible so it curves around the contour of your rear window. Hire 2 people for better installation, it will be much easier. The 3m tape stuck perfectly and seems very strong. Looks great on the car, see photos! We cut the tape in half and spray some glass cleaner on the tape. Lower the center section and work your way to the edge of the glass. Peel off the tape when we got to the edge. Very easy installation.
