I watched a Park Tools youtube video (youtube search "cassette removal and installation”) and was afraid I had the wrong part as my bike bold is the rear wheel, FR-5.2 worked fine. This part slips easily over a Shimano retaining ring and easily mounts onto an existing HG41, allowing it to sit upright and not strip the threads. If I hadn't been careful it would have shifted and run the risk of tearing something off, so you have to be a bit careful. Bike: Specialized Turbo VadoCassette: Shimano HG31Pro: The part is small and light. I can't comment on durability as I've only used it once. Cons: none yet.
