Review on πŸ’» Industrial Grade Coolgear Metal 4-Port USB 2.0 Powered Hub with Screw Lock: The Ultimate Solution for Secure Connectivity by Ryan Bennett

Robust and reliable product

The perfect hub for that hidden back corner behind a row of hard-to-reach drives. It's a heavy metal box that stays in place, so it's easy to plug in, unplug, and generally ignore. It's heavy enough not to be pushed or pulled by the weight of the cables. (But on the other hand it looks pretty industrial - not so easy, sleek and plastic like many others. You probably don't want to put it on a table where you have to look at it all the time. ) Unlike the lighter, less expensive hubs I've tried, this one doesn't randomly turn off or cause any problems. I plugged the thing in the day it arrived (hidden on the back shelf), hooked up four peripheral drives and haven't had to fiddle with it since. For the first time in years, all of my remote peripherals stay connected and I'm not getting any notifications about how to make my devices faster. While it's more expensive than others, it's worth it if your budget allows. m I'm not getting any notifications about how to make my devices faster. Cons
  • I don't remember, but there was something:
