I liked the finished result.
I'm happy with the end result and the staples worked, but they're complicated. I used 3 brackets per shelf which multiplied the difficulty factor, but as others have indicated the holes in the brackets are spaced 1 3/8" apart so you can only get 1 screw per bracket to actually fasten them in the wood , and I just didn't do it. Don't just trust 2 well-secured screws. But in the end I am very happy with the finished project.
