Versatile Compatible High Quality USB Hub

Excellent quality, I like the utilitarian look. It integrates well into my desk as a custom setup and doesn't stand out - it's a USB hub, not a decoration. are located on the back of the hub. With other hubs, the upstream cable always sticks out at the front. Not ideal for mounting flush with the edge of a table. I bought the USB 3.0 version because I had the same USB 2.0 hub. The older version of USB 2.0 did not work properly with my Thunderbolt Dock (Dell XPS15 9570 and Dell TB16 Dock). This will crash the entire USB bus on the docking station in less than a minute after plugging it in, even after updating all firmware and drivers. The TB16 just doesn't like the USB hub chips in the USB 2.0 version. πŸ€·πŸΌβ€β™‚οΈThe USB 3.0 version solved this problem and gave me many more built-in ports on my electronics desktop! The extra USB 3.0 bandwidth is a nice plus. The price is relatively high for a USB hub, but this product makes up for it by being one of the few "low key" USB hubs available with a mountable metal body. and it comes with a 12V/3A (36W) power adapter that can provide enough power for a range of connected USB devices. Also, most hubs will be cheap and come with an unusable short, poorly made USB cable. The cable that comes with this one is strong, well built, and 6ft long - long enough to go under my desk and through it from the opposite corner to my docking station. Perfect. I plan on using this hub for decades to come (or as long as USB 3.0 Type A remains relevant)!
