As someone who owns quite a few different brands of pliers, I can say that of all the needle nose or needle nose pliers I've tried, the Chanellock 317 (7.5 inch model) is by far the best. the best. You are way better than my Craftsman. These are high quality American pliers, durable, reliable and rustproof. They're easy to clean and they're good, strong but not too tight on them. They are obviously well made and the quality control is definitely in place. I have never received a bad channel lock tool and they continue to impress me with their sheer quality and value for money. Are they more expensive than other brands including other brands made in the US? Yes, they are worth it. But in my opinion, and in my experience, they are worth every penny of that premium. You really do get what you pay for hand tools, especially pliers and the like. the rest wears out, rusts, fits loosely and is poorly finished. They are the complete opposite and the standard by which other pliers should be measured. If you're going to buy needle nose pliers for your box, make a pair and you won't regret it.
