These bumpers fit perfectly right out of the box. No trimming is required to fit the standard fender position. My truck has a 1.25" alignment kit, and these fenders, which are longer than stock, just fill the gap between the fender and control arm and keep my expensive DSSV shocks from flexing. I ride them full-length (I've seen others on YouTube shorten theirs) and the ride is as comfortable as stock on-road, and the suspension flex seems unchanged off-road. They are noticeably softer than traditional "button" fenders.
