Disappointing design. I was looking for a simple flat pan. It's intentionally tilted from the center to drain all the fat from your food, like a George Foreman grill. So even a small amount of oil that is put in the pan falls immediately into the groove. So you can only cook in a dry pan. It doesn't make any sense to me. And if you thought this would be a good solution for an alfresco grilled breakfast, think again. If you cook bacon here, all the fat will immediately fall into the gutter and overflow, flaring up like crazy and making a huge mess. Don't buy it unless you just want to dry cook lean meat in a pan. Anything greasy, such as B. rib eye steak, fatty ground beef, pork belly, bacon, chicken thighs, etc., falls into the chute and overflows. Instead I get a true flat top.
