How to solve broken / cracked pastels.
I have read some complaints about this product which got to them ruined. I also received pastels that were quite badly damaged, but instead of sending them back I chose to compress them myself. Eureka, it worked. I tried my thumb first, which worked, but the thumb got confused. Today I finished everything else with the back of a spoon. Works great. Panpastels are very soft and therefore very easy to break. Thought it might come in handy if you drop one at home. Don't throw it away, use a spoon. Fantastic product and worth the effort.
