Had to replace the pad on my Dewalt sander as the hooks used to hold the sandpaper were worn out. I bought this product as a replacement. There were no problems installing it, but the vibration is much worse than the previous seal. One particular job I was working on involved small parts and it took much longer due to excessive vibration - so much so that I ended up putting the old gasket back on and using double sided tape to secure the paper so I was done could become. Work. This item costs $10 vs. $20 for the Dewalt brand, but I've already spent well over the $10 difference on wasted labor. I'll eat ten bucks and order a replacement Dewalt
