Review on Gates TCKWP257A Engine Timing Belt Kit with Water Pump: Ultimate Timing Solution by Chris Mania

OK. I bought it in 2014 and now in 2017 I have to change the water pump again because the pump seal and pump shaft seal failed. It seems to have been unsuccessful for quite some time, but I don't know how long ago it was. A year ago I had to top up the coolant. That issue aside, the belt, idler, and roller bearings look fine (I took them apart to check). Conclusion: This is a normal product if you do the work yourself and you're good at it and you don't mind doing it every day for 2-3 years (no object). This time I have to try the Aisin pump.
