Review on Unlocked Intel Core i5-9600KF Desktop Processor, 6 Cores up to 4.6 GHz Turbo, LGA1151 300 Series, No Graphics, 95W TDP by Hideo Tsuchida ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I do not cease to rejoice at the purchase, a very good deal!

At the end of last year, I assembled a very good thin computer for games - the SilverStone SST-RVZ02B case ideally stood in a cabinet next to a 55 "TV. I chose a processor for a long time, so that it would not be very expensive, would not overheat in games and there was nothing superfluous ( built-in video). First I looked at AMD, they are cheaper by 5 thousand with about the same characteristics. But good Mini-ITX boards for them, on the contrary, were more expensive. I won almost nothing in price, but in games Intel still shows itself better "In the end, the 9600KF won. I don't regret it at all. Even in the heaviest games, the processor does not overheat in my configuration. I need it for everything. It never acts as a bottleneck. Total: performance, heat dissipation, price, I was completely satisfied .I am satisfied.

Pros
  • At the time of assembly (almost a year ago), it was the best in terms of price / performance ratio. Perhaps even now the best processor from intel is up to 15 thousand. Useless with a discrete video card, the graphics core is disabled - the price is less. The base frequency is higher than the 9600 without the K index. The heat dissipation suited me for the Mini-ITX SilverStone SST-RVZ02B and Noctua NH-L9i case - it does not overheat at all.
Cons
  • No hyperthreading. For myself, I don’t consider it a minus, but Intel, of course, is a miser :)

A cost-effective option for upgrading from a Pentium or Core i3 without replacing the entire system. Much faster than the 9400f, even without overclocking, with a difference in price on the verge of error.

Has pros: I was lucky, I specifically bought a boxed version. Rewarded with a stable 5GHz overclock at 1.36V. Has some cons It gets quite hot) in stress tests. For the most part, 9600kf are only driven up to 4800-4900 MHz.
