This is my 4th or 5th keypad for my iPad. I use these daily and like the versatility. I have used several different brands, this is my first use of this brand. This weight on this is good, however, at about a 40-degree angle the unit will fall backward (this is a hinge issue). The only problem I have had with any iPad keyboard is the hinge breaks out if the body of the keyboard cover. Typically I will get 6+ months of use out of a keyboard. I am not abusive with the keyboard but use this every day. The hinge is the weak point. This one, after on 2 months of use, shows a crack forming along the seam - this may be why the top flips back at 40 degrees. There is a slight delay for Bluetooth to connect, not a deal-breaker just a have to learn to wait. I like the texture on the outside, as unit will slide, keyboard lighting is bright and can be dimmed, and overall versatility is great. Just if they could correct the hinge issues.* Follow-up from my review: Earto contacted me regarding my keyboard hinge issue wanting to correct the problem. I appreciate the action and replacement. ebay was unable to help but Earto went out of their way to provide great customer service by following up with me and sending me a replacement!
