Good price and range

I'm just learning to crochet this variation so didn't want to spend money on hooks until I knew what sizes I needed. This set was well priced and had the biggest hooks. So far I've used 3 hooks and only one had a rough spot on the hook. I fixed it easily. Acrylic and bamboo threads move easily on hooks, while cotton requires more strength. I like that these hooks are lightweight, but the small hooks seem to snap with little effort. I'm a little afraid to use them. I'm happy with this set because I wanted it as a beginner, but I'll improve on the individual hooks as I get better.
