As mentioned by several other buyers, the item arrived in a sealed Mopar box. However, inside the box was a switch wrapped in a paper towel. A bit strange, but externally the device was fine. There is no visible damage other than the remains of the sticker on the barrel. The installation took only 5 minutes. after the boot fastner is removed from the OEM switch. The new offsets are very noticeable (they feel shorter and firmer) compared to the original pistol grip. Especially in 2nd and 4th gear. But I wouldn't go so far as to say that a multiple is definitely better. However, if you want a shorter shift and don't want to pay Hurst or Barton prices. It's definitely a good compromise for $300-$400 less. And it adds nice Mopar branding to the cabin. If you are hesitant to buy I would say buy it if the lower price tells you to. If you have heart and mind to buy a Barton or Hurst derailleur, I would suggest skipping that option.
