I left the side of the manifold blank to allow enough clearance to align the rear flange with the old pipe flange. The new flange has been overclocked by about 30 degrees! I had to use a jack to skewer the factory exhaust (from the back of the cat) and I was barely able to line up the two flanges well enough to align the studs. After tightening on the collector side, the tube is removed enough to be pressed against the bottom pan. I'll take it to a muffler shop to have them heat it up and bend the pipe so it's not stranded. It is currently so far away that the rubber mounts do nothing and it pulls on two studs where it is bolted to the manifold. I should have just bought the cheapest replacement. I honestly don't take better care of a cat. It would be half the price and probably better. I had to return the item but I need my car. But hey, that didn't cause the check engine light to come on. Anyway the bulb wasn't on before, I replaced the whole thing because the flexible hose had completely detached from the flange.
